Who is Eligible?

If you are:

• Renovating your kitchen, bathroom or basement;

• Installing new carpet or hardwood floors;

• Installing a new furnace or water heater;

• Painting the inside or outside of your house;

• Putting down new sod;

• Paying labour or professional fees;

• Buying materials orfixtures;

• Renting equipment;
• Obtaining permits.

What is not eligible:

If you:

• Buy furniture and/or appliances;
• Buy tools;
• Have your carpets cleaned;
• Have your furnace cleaned, snow removed, grass cut, pool cleaned or have any other maintenance contracts.
  

Time Frame

This tax credit is good

For any contract entered into after January 27, 2009 and before February 1, 2010. Any agreement entered into after January 27, 2009 may be eligible.
